Aside from spending time on the terraces down the years, David has also supported a variety of fans\u2019 initiatives designed to improve the relationship between football clubs and their fan base.<\/p>\n

David is a former board member of Cardiff City Supporters Trust<\/a> and remains a Trust member to this day.<\/p>\n

The Trust aims to maintain a regular dialogue with the club on behalf of supporters and encourages the club to take account of its supports and the community it serves, in its decision-making.<\/p>\n

David has lent his creative talents to the Trust, writing regularly for its magazine Moving to a Different Beat<\/a>. Feel free to wander through back copies of the publication on-line to enjoy David\u2019s contemplations.<\/p>\n

Sometimes he doesn\u2019t mention Cardiff City at all, like in this review of fellow Trust member Tim Hartley\u2019s excellent book, The World at your Feet.<\/a><\/p>\n

David was also especially pleased to support the Trust\u2019s Oral History Project<\/a>, where Tim quizzed David on his obsession with the Bluebirds.<\/p>
