Wrexham

There can be few stories which have captured the imagination of fans so vividly in recent years as that of Wrexham.

The backing of Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney has elevated the north Wales club to global stardom. Home games were packed to the rafters as Wrexham finally returned to the EFL after so many years in the long grass.

David was thrilled to join his fellow countrymen as the club reached Wembley to face Bromley in the 2022 FA Trophy Final. Sadly the day did not end in Welsh Wembley glory, but David’s evocative account of this unique occasion is well worth a read.
